Care for engineered quartz counters
Quartz surfaces are low-maintenance and generally do not need sealing, but heat, impact and harsh cleaners can still damage the resin-bound surface.

What to do
- Use warm water, a soft cloth and mild soap for routine cleaning, then rinse or wipe away residue.
- Use cutting boards and trivets; do not expose the surface directly to hot cookware or heat-producing appliances.
- Do not apply a sealer unless the surface manufacturer specifically directs it.
- Follow the brand's stain guidance and test any cleaner first; avoid abrasive pads and unapproved solvents or high-pH chemicals.
