Clean LVP and resilient vinyl flooring
Luxury vinyl is water-resistant, not a reason to flood the floor. Product-specific cleaner and moisture limits still matter at seams and edges.

What to do
- Sweep or vacuum without a beater bar to remove grit before damp cleaning.
- Use a manufacturer-approved resilient-floor cleaner and a well-wrung microfiber mop.
- Avoid steam, abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, wax and excessive liquid unless the exact flooring instructions permit them.
- Wipe spills promptly, use non-staining mats and protect the floor from sharp furniture legs and appliance movement.
